WRETCHED CITY

A surreal noir concept album that transcends genre.

Finally. The biggest thing I've ever worked on.

My concept album, which is based on a book I wrote and might publish, is out 2nd of July - you can stream it on all platforms on the link below or if you want to really support me purchase it on Bandcamp (also on this link) for the price of a coffee.

It's an odyssey of crazy genres, deliberate film-noir clichés, surrealism, ethereal and seductive vocals from NYSZA and Noisette Martel, otherworldly cello from Sam Creer, doom-jazz saxophone from Denis Popstoev, Motown brass from Kelly O'Donohue, insane production from Eduard Carcota, heavy, soul-striking riffs from Tudor Petrea, strings from Giack Bazz, compositions, harmonicas, bukkehorns and other unthinkable instruments, guitars, synths and doomsday vocals, beats and gradually ascending narrative madness from myself. Naim Vahidi drums on the post-rock / synthwave hybrid "One Final Banshee Scream", Charlie Hepburn is on the bass for "For A Small Fee, Eternity" and "Timmy Used to Play Guitar".

As time will pass, the storyworld of Wretched City will slowly grow - it has already spanned from music to video-making, concept art, a novel… More and more of these will be revealed slowly, with time, whilst various other works of art taking place in our little world will gradually emerge… Stay tuned - this is only the beginning of the journey.
